The dolphins are swimming in Phu Quy island

On September 5, a group of tourists suddenly met three dolphins in Phu Quy sea.

Video by Mr. Tinh, a local tour guide, recorded the scene of dolphins swimming in Phu Quy beach attracted attention on social networks. Mr. Tinh shares this area near Tranh Islet and does not always have dolphins. After years of carrying passengers to the sea, he has seen dolphins twice. For the first time in 2019, he only met 3 fish. This year, he was luckier to meet three dolphins. The whole group of guests accompanying this guide were very excited.

According to him, dolphins often appear in groups and as long as the boat gets close, they will leave very quickly. To record this moment, visitors must have ready phones and cameras. No one knows the specific time when dolphins appear or their typical behavior and activities in this sea.

Previously, Binh Thuan sea used to have dolphins swim in but not often and most of them got stranded. However, this year, dolphins appear in this sea more. In addition, in April and May 2020, some fishermen and local people also encountered dolphins appearing in Nha Trang sea, Hon Cau beach (Tuy Phong, Binh Thuan). Many opinions say that, because of Covid-19, tourism activities and boats are limited, the sea is quiet, so many dolphins swim closer to the shore than every year.

Around the island of Phu Quy, there are about 10 islands, of which Tranh is the largest with a wild beauty. This is one of the diving places to watch coral that tourists should not miss when having the opportunity to visit Phu Quy. June to December is the peak tourist season thanks to smooth waves, ideal for going to the beach. From Phu Quy, tourists have to go on a canoe or hire a fisherman boat to go to Tranh Island.
